Front Porch Publications

PLACES WORTH REMEMBERING. BOOKS WORTH GIVING.

Front Porch Publications creates illustrated keepsakes and puzzle books that help families share memories, stories, and time together. The idea grew from a family tradition: saving newspaper puzzles for a grandmother who loved working them and sharing them with friends. That simple habit—and the front porch goodbyes that followed family visits—became the foundation for books built around connection, curiosity, and remembered places. The intergenerational puzzle collection gives children, parents, and grandparents something to solve together. The College Town Collection uses familiar streets, campus landmarks, and gathering places to open conversations about who family members were before younger generations knew them. Each title is independently researched, designed, and prepared with care for readers who value meaningful gifts, shared discovery, and places worth remembering.

Introducing Stomping Grounds

Stomping Grounds is our newest collection in development, centered on the local institutions, vanished landmarks, neighborhood gathering places, and everyday memories that make a city feel like home. It grows naturally from our place-based keepsake work and is designed for homecomings, reunions, holiday gifts, and coffee-table conversations.

From Puzzles to Places

Our first publishing collection took shape through approachable large-print puzzle books for adults and seniors. From there, the idea widened into illustrated college-town keepsakes built around familiar streets, landmarks, traditions, and the memories people carry from a place. The same goal connects both shelves: give people something engaging to enjoy and something meaningful to talk about.

Why We Started Front Porch

Front Porch Publications began with a simple belief: books can help people stay curious, remember meaningful places, and start good conversations. We are building warm, giftable puzzle books and illustrated keepsakes for sharing across generations—from a quiet afternoon on the porch to a family gathering around the coffee table.
